Mike’s 2010 Corsair Crown

Tor’s Mike Flaherty was once the owner of Corsair bikes, but he never actually had is own Crown DH bike. Recently he picked up a used one and rebuilt it with Tor parts.

Starting with the size long frame, Shimano Saint groupo, and Marzocchi DH suspension, he built up custom DH wheels using Tor TR37 aluminum rims and splined nipples with an old set of Atomlab DH hubs. The wheels were finished up with Maxxis DHR/DHF tubeless tires and 205 Shimano rotors. The cockpit used Tor TRZ bars, Tor GR direct mount stem, Sensus Swayze lock-on grips, a RaceFace alloy post, a Corsair DH saddle, and a Tor prototype seat clamp. We also used a Tor headset with California Carbon top cap and a set of Tor TRZ alloy pedals.

The Crown was ahead of it’s time and worth checking out.
