TR37 Carbon Wheels

These carbon wheels combine our TR37 carbon rims and splined nipples with butted spokes and a straight pull version of our TR150 high-engagement hubs. They are light enough for trail riding and durable enough for freeride.  These wheels are exceptional in durability, finish, and value.

Splined Alloy Nipples

All of the Tor TR Wheels use our proprietary splined alloy nipples. Not only are they lighter than brass nipples, the splined interface is also more durable than a standard square-shaped nipple and is nearly strip-proof. The nipple heads have a Torx T-25 interface (same size as your disk mount bolts). This is not only more secure than a simple screw driver slot, it allows the wheel to be build and adjust from the backside, leaving the outer nipple untouched.

150-POINT ENGAGEMENT

Our TR150 hubs are beautiful inside and out. Whether it’s the gold finish on our 7075 inner axles or the precision machining required to create a hub with 2.4 degree engagement, we’ve left no stone unturned. TR150 hubs have a level of precision you can actually feel. They have very little drag and their coasting speed is exceptionally noticable. The 150 point engagement system also has an noticable audible difference. The extra fine ratchets actually have a unique sound similar to screaming bees. You will definitely turn heads with these laced into your wheels.

Asymmetrical Rims

Both the carbon and alloy TOR TR rims have an asymmetrical design which offsets the spokes by 3mm. This may not sound like much, but it actually does a lot to balance out the spoke angles and therefore, the strength of the wheel. The more balanced the right and left spoke angles are, the more structurally sound the wheel build.
